CargoSense-AXLE is a wheel axle sensor for rail freight transport that can detect not only wheel flats but also wheel bearing damage due to powerful acceleration sensors and algorithms. Temperature monitoring is also possible. The sensor can be screwed or glued to the wheel set cover and has low investment costs with a long service life of 12 years.
CargoSense is a product family of Sensors designed to operate with CargoObserver product line of tracking devices from Cargomon.

CargoSense-PrecisionWeight is an accurate weight measurement system that measures the load directly at the bogie via highly sensitive strain gauges and can derive the loading weight from this.
With 2-3% accuracy depending on calibration, the sensor solution outperforms distance-based sensor systems, which generally achieve max. 5% accuracy.
